Hey ppl~

OMG I JUZ GAVE CM A HAIRCUT!!!

so long nv blog le.. cuz all my interesting events are recorded with photos, posted on facebool! faster den resizing n loading them here.. hehehe.. pls go look if u r interested!! some photos r quite nice la (oops now bhb alr)

nthg exciting so far la.. still waiting for my tax acct no to be done.. not looking for job yet.. dunno wad i wanna do too.. mabe i could juz scrimp and survive on my savings..

anyway, today went to yarra river with cm, tere n our camera! took lots of photos.. it was nice to be out today, cuz the weather was really good! sunny blue skies, cool breeze and not too cold today. perfect day to be out there lo.. we walked along the river, saw some swans (tere was trying to talk to them, telling them not to rely on human beings for bread crumbs anymore.. she was serious! hahaha..).. anyway, i was juz enjoying being in the sun without freezing to death!!!

tml gg grocery shopping again.. life here is just not exciting at all...

its not so cold now.. its quite comfortable actually. but i still have to put on an extra coat when i'm outside. but generally, it is not as cold as when we juz reached..

we've stayed at out new place for more than a week alr! the first few days we were juz cleaning n cleaning n cleaning.. cuz the previous prcs who stayed here sort of like, left everything covered in a layer of oil and grime.. it was gross.. the bed collapsed, the hood above the stove had one side falling off, the stove itself was like black and oily with huge clumps of dunno-what, the sofa looked like it was rotting, when we open the wardrobe, an awful stench came out, with unwashed/washed(dun really wan to know) bedsheets and even clothes inside!!!!

and, altho this room is supposed to have only 1 double bed, there is an extra single bed in the living room! and an extra wardrobe! and an extra study table and 2 chairs! someone must have been staying here without telling the management! the place is alr very small, n these took up so much space! in the end, cm buay tahan, he went to dismantle the bed and the extra table. luckily he happens to be the kind of guy who can just fix n unfix stuff. =) so after he put the extra set of furniture away, the place looks much better.. after we vacummed n scrubbed n washed, it now looks finally proper to live in!

then we went with teresa to supermarkets and ikea to buy stuff for our new home.. like cups n plates and cultery. there were some left behind by the previous ppl, but all had a layer of mold, so.... we threw away everything. major YUCK! and we bot new bed sheets, quilt and quilt cover.. n a small fan heater, and some biscuits (hee), hair dryer.. cant remember wad else. but we bot quite a lot of stuff..

we've gotten used to the weather.. but i havent gotten used to the ppl and their accent here. hopefully i will be able to get used to it soon..

reached at nite ard 7.30... had a hard time moving all those stuff to the yha hostel.. but we finally made it.. so tired.. we juz bathed n ate microwave food from 7-11 downstairs n went to sleep. zzz..the next day went to his sch, opened bank acct, bot pre-paid sim card, then went to DFO to shop a bit.. nthg much...

ytd went to melb aquarium.. got penguins! dat was the highlight i think hehe.. realli realli cute! check out the photos on my facebook. i have like a million more of the penguins in my camera but fb limits to 200 per album.. so...

anyway, after the aquarium, we went to the Crown plaza, which is like a huge casino, all glam n glittery, like jackie chan's movies where he shoots poker cards like bullets and crash the game tables like biscuits... u know! haha... anyway, we went back to this restaurant dat we went to a few yrs back.. it's realli cheap lo... like $12 for each main course (limited choices la..) and $12 for 3 drinks... alcoholic drinks!! i ordered one bottle of light beer, cm got a bacardi coke and jim bean coke. all for $36.. yummy!





then we went to watch harry potter... of cuz muz watch la! it's harry potter leh! haha... but the tix realli ex... wonder if it is their standard prices here in melb... we paid like $34 for 2 tickets... almost as ex as our dinner lo.. haiz..

and today.. sigh.. we ran of out ideas.. and it is so cold, we dun realli wanna go places like great ocean road n stuff.. so we walked ard town.. bought some stuff to cook dinner from the supermarket.. came back ard noon.. den went out again to explore the area.. in the end went to supermarket again.. haha... and we juz did our laundry... so.. it was an exciting day.. ya right. -__-

we were at elizabeth st, and we saw this shop called Lord of the Fries, claiming to be vegeterian, gluten free, salted by sea salt n all.. there are vege burgers too but we got the normal ones.. well the burger was not bad.. quite nice.. but the fries is.. too salty!! machiam sea salt very cheap lidat! but i guess sea salt cant be too ex hor.. juz go to the sea lo.. all yours to take.. haha. the sauce is pretty nice tho.. mabe the part-timer too new at this.. dats y too salty.. sigh.. but i do like this kind of fries, thick-cut ones.. very nice =)

so that's settled. we've found a place to stay. but will be staying at yha first, a hostel as we can onli move in on 27 jul.. well it's reasonable..

omgggg it's realli happening.. i'm realli gg away for a yr.. had been excited abt it when it seemed like months away but now dat i haf onli less than a week to go, i am so so so so freaking scared!!!!

but at the same time i cant wait to see how it will turn out. i'm sure (sort of) that we will have a great time.. that it will be so much fun.. that we will learn a lot from this experience..

and girls shd be entitled to an extra lugguage. hor?
