know wad? i lost my phone again... ytd after taking taxi to marsiling pri for meeting, i left my phone in the car... realli veri sad.. abt 2yrs ago, me and cm decided to buy the same hp model, samsung one... but after a few mths, i lost mine in Mac's!!!! dat time i was realli devastated. $400+ was a huge sum of money to lose, plus it was our phone!!! T_T

and then recently, cuz he wanted to try my sony ericsson phone, i exchanged my phone wif his samsung one.. which is the exact same one i lost abt 1.5 yrs ago...!! am i realli not fated to use samsung phone?! but anyway, i wasn't really upset abt the lost this time, perhaps bcuz the value of the phone is only $50 now, and maybe bcuz i have much more stressful things occupying my tiny brain, or perhaps also bcuz i felt my life is already such a mess, losing my hp can hardly compare. no matter wad.. juz glad my sony ericsson was wif him.. so it is not lost.. plus luckily xiang's contract was finishing, so cm can use it to buy a new phone... he was planning to change it 3 weeks later after his own contract is up.. i guess i pushed the plan forward a bit for him.. =p

today, i met up wif hs, cuimei, teresa, hm and her bf junchen for lunch..
we went for dessert at Out of The Pan! the dishes were all prettily designed, and it seems like they do not follow a template, they are simply good at art! we know this cuz cuimei ordered one of the dessert b4, and the design and arrangement of the plate was different! anyway, i dun realli care wad designs la.. most impt is that the food was great!!

1. Rainbow forest (?), veri nice combi of vanilla ice cream with pineapple, mango and rasberry sherbet... refreshing!!

2. Choc maniac - a think layer of soft choc cake lining around the ice cream.. very nice too, but not as interesting as the 1st one. haha.. 3. forgot the name.. but it's choc crepe with choc ice cream and banana.. yes the crepe is choc flavoured! not the normal crepe.. veri nice and soft and chewy.. n veri pretty too...
all of them veri pretty rite..? hehe.. after dat we went shop a bit, afterwhich me n cuimei n cm and hm went to watch chingay as hs managed to get tickets for us! went to padang to check out the crowds for chingay.. realli crowded.. after being told that we are not allowed to wait at the barricades in front of the padang, we went to the Area 5 that hs got seats for us.. but we went the wrong way and as all roads were blocked, we took a loooong and ardous route b4 we finally managed to find our seats... but as the seats were in the last area of the parade, we had to wait till 9pm b4 we saw our 1st float... altho we were quite high during the 1st part, esp when the F1 racing car came, our energy faded away after the 1st half hour or so... tiring!! next time i wanna get the 1st area seats! overall, chingay was fun and amazing, but also tiring... thx hweeshan!!

but the one tt left the deepest impression me had to be this one from the Taiwan Yuan Zhu Ming group.. their costumes were.... no costumes! the guys were practically naked, except for a small piece of cloth covering the front side of their .. ahem... smthg like wearing a G-string.. but the G-string is much thicker and stuck in between the butt cheeks. ouch! how to dance lidat? lolz.. their dance was quite cute.. veri simple.. but i really admire them for their courage to dance naked in front of a whole island of ppl, plus broadcast over on TV!! hahaha..


the japanese group oso had smthg lidat, where the guys onli covered their pte parts with a piece of cloth, and then it was their birthday suits. but at least their cloth was a much bigger piece.. haha.. not so @_@??? yet..


this time round seems like they are more open... hmm how to put it.. there were quite a number of guys cross-dressing as girls this yr.. short of manpower? esp the 3 flower kan-kan "girls" with super duper mini skirts in the pre-parade.. from the way they criss-cross their legs and twitching their perky butt (not perkier than mine! haha) in rhythm to the music, i suspect they are more than juz cross-dressers.. they sure look happy in that outfit tho! haha..


chingay again next yr? maybe, if i can get the tix! =p
