super early xmas present for cm~~ a swiss army knife~ with a thumb drive~!

he always liked these sort of stuff.. n i wanted to find out where to get the real swiss knife.. but after days of googling n surfing ebay, it seems like these knifes r not sold in Sg.. the official website Victorinox Swiss Army only delivers to US.. i was so disappointed.. then i tried to get frens in US to help me order and then send it me.. but seems so troublesome.. luckily, teresa helped me searched on ebay, and she found a seller who delivers to Sg~~!! i searched for so many days, and she only searched for like 3 minutes.. sigh..

Anyway, after i found a seller, i signed up for ebay acct so tt i could purchase it, but after making the purchase, i realised i have to link an Paypal account too.. yea of cuz i should have tot of it. but u know i am the kind who rather go shopping than buy stuff online.. anyway, that took me abt another night, until i couldnt take it anymore n asked my sis if she ever bought things from ebay. thankfully she said yes and she helped me purchased it.. Yay~

isn't it nice? i think no pocket knife can beat a real swiss army knife! =p although this is half a thumb drive really.. but still, it's really cool..

i had wanted to keep it as a gift for xmas.. then after 2 days, i couldnt take the pressure of having a secret for so long, so i decided to give him after his exams.. then tonite, i really couldnt bear it any longer n i told him i got a gift for him but i wouldn't tell him wad it was.. n when i got home it arrived~~ so i gave it to him on the spot.. so much for a surprise xmas..

we went to marina barrage last nite.. it was really nice n beautiful.. at the start ONLY..
first we saw this pretty water squirting thingy.. like a mini musical fountain.
as the barrage has a large circle walkabout around the place, we decided to try walking the whole of it to see the view.. the view was really pretty too.. but too dark for my phone camera..
but after coming to the end of the giantic circle, we realised there is no pavement for us to get down!! crazy!!! the only way was to cut across the grass n it was damn muddy after raining!!! T_T in the end we got really muddy shoes/heels n had to wash them off.. n i almost stepped on a bull frog.. it was horrible.. we ended up muddy n sweaty n sianz..

if u ever go there, no need to be so motivated to walk finish the whole thing.. juz get off the circle when u reach the Green Room.. unless if u r sure the grass wun be wet n muddy..

ytd, mon, we went for staff retreat at this organic farm at neo tiew road.. the place is called bollywood veggies and doris knows the boss.. was quite excited cuz i've nv beem to a farm b4!

as the theme was wellness, we had a health talk.. by.. zheng xiu xhen! the former actress from ch 8!! omg!! she's very skinny n very pretty~~ but as i was late, when i arrived she was already ending her talk..and i was sitting way behind n only managed to get a lousy photo. anyway, another tr took a photo for us.. i hope she remembers to pass it to me soon! haha

the day started off quite crazy actually.. bus did not turn up on time.. had to call the boss n ask.. den doris was complaining abt the bus n all.. den when the last bus finally came, i received a call abt a transfer case which held me back and i had no choice but to ask everyone to go off first... mrs koh stayed behind with me n after i was done, we wanetd to go get a cab.. but.. 20min passed n no cab!! it was totally crazy!! on the expressway always see 4 taxis out of 5 cars, now wan to get one taxi and they all nowhere in sight!!??! then i was joking n said "sekali mr tan drive pass and we are still here" cuz he said he would go to sch 1st.. den.. he really drove past n we still havent got a cab.. and i asked him to give us a lift, but he wan to go back to sch 1st.. so we waited until like 11 den go off!! anyway, it was real weird in his car.. i got a lift from him b4 too, but its really awkward cuz i dunno wad to say! last time when i took richie's car i felt very weird too. i think i juz dunno how to chat with my bosses casually la!! anyway, mr tan almost got lost n luckily i could read a map.. n we reached there safely..

farm tour at bollywood veggies!! it was raining but didnt stop us from wanting to go n walk abt the farm.. haha..very countryside feel.. realli feel very relax when u see so much greenery ard u..
plots of vegetables.. the tour guide was a very young girl n she seemed to know lots abt plants! could tell she really like them too.. a banana plant and its beautiful flower!! it's called a lotus banana tree or smthg cuz the flower looks like lotus.. anyway, do u know that banana trees with flowers which are pointing up (like this picture) are poisonous!! the bananas cant be eaten!! u muz eat those pointing down!!
like this one! it's pointing down. but the fruits are too tiny so only fruit bats and birds like to eat.. it was a really fun n fruitful day.. cant say the same for the ex-actress's health care club tho.. =p

cheese-y omelette with mushroom~ this is the first dish dat i invented myself yrs ago (actualli anyone can make an omelette but me cooking anything edible is quite a feat..) n cm likes it too~ eggs, cheese, mushrooms.. all my fav food items.. put together quite nice too! hehe.. i was reading xiaxue's blog n saw dat her photos all had speech bubbles, so put a lame bubble on my photo too. but after writing one for this egg picture, i ran out of ideas to write for the rest.. -__-

anywayz, i bot this cutest thing ever for my sis~~ this is a baby rabbit, representing my sis as she is born in yr of rabbit..n this is me n cm, cuz we are both born in yr of rats (and also this was cheaper than other the other mouse models)
together, we r a happy family~~~ for my sis cuz she's gg HK next yr.. and she can bring them over for company.. haha..

finally, p1 orientation is over.. next, breathe, drink, eat SEM!!!!

had nice wanton noodles at casuarina road.. the same place with the famous prata.. just next door.. it is really nice.. the char siew is very nice too.. love the wantons.. one whole prawn in each wanton~ delicious~

finally finished this game: Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo's Dungeon. in jap the title reads something like Dungeon/tower of Forgotten Time.. or smthing like dat.. anyway it is very fun n chocobo is so cute inside~~ used to play a bit of FF in the past.. n i always loved riding the chocobos in the game.. very very cute n the music oso very happy kind. normally the main charac is a male charac, but this game, chocobo is the main character~ so cute!!
